Surprise! I awoke this morning to the freshness of a dusting of this fall's first snow. Noticing that my bedroom was exceptionally bright at 6:20AM, I climbed out of my snugly warm bed, staggered to the kitchen for coffee (it had only been a little over 5 hours since I laid down!), and as I passed the den window noticed through the slits called morning eyes a beautiful dusting of snow in our backyard.
I feel like this is a picture of what the Lord is doing in our midst, here at IHOP-KC as well as across our nation and around the world. The Holy Spirit is moving. He is healing and delivering many, not of just physical illness/disease, but also of emotional and spiritual issues. He is making hearts pure through the blood of Jesus, just like this fresh white snow. And just as this is only a sprinkling of the more that is to come in the near future in the weather, I am convinced the present move of the Holy Spirit is just an outpouring
of what the Lord wants to do in and among His people.Lord we pray that you renew our hearts to Christ-likeness. Refresh us. Come like the freshness of this fall snow. Create in us thankful hearts. Give us your joy. And Lord as you pour into, make us m

Beautiful! Got something "official" from IHOP today about the awakening that is "occurring". Also received a video of Bethany's testimony of her healing.
This weekend "DREAMERS CONFERENCE" is happening here (over 500 are registered) and we're expecting the Holy Spirit to come upon us as well. Can't wait!
