KRISTIAN WRITES: Easter was our first holiday 'away from home'. You know us, we are BIG family people. Jeff and I were each raised celebrating everything with the extended family.
In mid March, the wife of a fellow INTRO intern asked if we would be in town on Easter, knowing it would be a 'first' for us. (Although Paul was doing INTRO with us, he and his wife, Angela, and their two younger daughters had moved here from Oklahoma for the purpose of the prayer room about 2 years ago.)
Long story short, they came over to our house for Easter dinner and an egg hunt. It was a great afternoon of food, fellowship, and relaxation. The Lord is so good! He knows what we need even before we ask and as a good Father is wanting to give us good (great!) gifts, all the time!!!
I used to think that it was Papa and the cousins that were always instigators of the 'pile up' on holidays.....I may have had it all wrong.
