On Monday we all packed up and headed out early for Hannibal, Missouri, about 3.5 hours northeast of Kansas City. Jack and Doe planned a trip for us all to go to Hannibal to ride the Mark Twain Riverboat and tour the town where Mark Twain lived. The riverboat tour was on a portion of the Mississippi River between Missouri and Illinois.
Yes, it was the end of May, but this is Missouri and jackets were definitely on the agenda!! Some braved the wind and cool for the entire time, but the two smart ladies went inside the cabin and enjoyed the view through the windows. 
Thank you Grandma and Papa! We had a great time and learned a lot... (like if jumping from lover's leap, make sure a train is coming!! Ha/Ha)
